On Friday May 11th, Travis County Constable Office Pct. 2 was on hand to receive a Certificate of Appreciation for its contributions to the Travis County Underage Drinking Prevention Task Force. The task force's mission statement is to create a community consensus that underage drinking is illegal, unhealthy, and unacceptable.
Pct. 2 has provided seminars, presentations, and classes to schools and other organizations on the dangers of underage drinking and substance abuse. We have joined with the Task Force to advance their cause and will be collaborating more in the future. Deputies Michael De Leon, Ernie Rivera, and Darren Dorrheim received certificates for their commitment and assistance.
