Our Civil Unit has been increasing the number of papers it serves for the last several years. Currently, the unit is around 20 percent up over last year in papers served and is diligently working to have a 24 hour turnaround. As the number of papers has increased, the unit is looking to expand its scope and continue providing quick yet thorough civil service . The civil unit serves papers in all of Travis County, not just inside our precinct. In special cases, we may occasionally serve papers out of county.
