For the 11th year and running, the Travis County Precinct 2 Constable's Office was proud to be part of the annual Fiesta event at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Pflugerville on September 29th. Constable Deputies were there to ensure safe traffic in and out of the church while Explorer Post 711 coordinated parking for the event. Constable Deputies, trained in First Aid & CPR, were on hand to tend to any injuries or illnesses. Constable Ballesteros even showed off his impressive skills behind the grill making burgers for Fiesta attendees while Office Staff manned some of the booths and games. Constable Ballesteros was even asked to pull the winning tickets for the raffle.
The day long festival is the church's main fundraising event, featuring a variety of food and entertainment including music, games, raffles, a silent auction, and a live auction. The St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish Fiesta continues to be a wonderful community building event. It is a great opportunity for our culturally diverse community to come together in friendship, fun and fellowship. It provides a wholesome family environment that is also inviting and open to the wider Pflugerville community.
