Pct. 2 was very fortunate to be able to participate in the Special Olympics send-off for the Special Olympics Team Texas to compete in the games in Seattle. The send-off was held at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium on Thursday evening 6/28/18. The athletes participated in sports and activities on the field and then received a pep rally. UT cheerleaders, mascots, pep squad, UT football players, and other student-athletes were also on hand to cheer on the Special Olympics competitors. We want to wish them well in their quest to win gold!
