Pct. 2 Constables Ride In Deutschen Pfest Parade

Deutschen Pfest is an annual festival held in Pflugerville to celebrate the city's German heritage with food, music, games, and rides. In its 43rd year, Deutschen Pfest was kicked off this year on the morning of Saturday May 19th with a parade that began southbound on Railroad Avenue into downtown Pflugerville on Main Street. Constable Adan Ballesteros' office has participated in the parade for many years and also help out with the Pflugerville Rotary Club with any needs over the festival weekend.

This year, Pct. 2 Chief Daniel Johnson rode in the parade along with Pct. 1 Commissioner Jeff Travillion. Pct. 2 was also represented by Sgt. Dwight Bertram and Deputy Adrian Wright riding along in another vehicle. Along the parade route, Pct. 2 was a hit with the kids as Commissioner Travillion threw out handfuls of candy and Chief Johnson had the patrol lights on and hit the sirens. With bad weather threatening, it turned out to be a pleasant day all around.
