On December 5th, the CTCPA (Central Texas Crime Prevention Association) presented Constable Adan Ballesteros and Constable Pct. 2 Explorer Post 711 with the McGruff/Safety Mascot Award. At several events this year, Explorer Post 711 invited McGruff to be with them to educate and entertain children and adults who have fond memories of the mascot. Through the partnership of the Pflugerville Police Department, our Explorers have enjoyed being able to introduce McGruff to a new generation.
