Constable Pct. 2 Law Enforcement Explorer Post 711 Win 1st Place in First Competition of The Year

In their first competition of 2018, Constable Pct. 2 Law Enforcement Explorer Post 711 showed again why the post is one of the best in the state. They brought home 1st Place Robbery In Progress, 1st Place Gang Activity, 2nd Place Active Shooter, and another 2nd Place in Foot Pursuit. Approximately 60 teams gathered and competed at the 2018 A.W. Grimes Memorial Explorer Competition in Round Rock on April 21st, 2018.

Constable Pct. 2 Law Enforcement Explorer Post 711 meet every Wednesday night to practice scenarios and learn law enforcement techniques. The Explorers are mentored by a group consisting of Corporal Kenneth Guerrero, Deputy LaToya Russell, Deputy Chelsea Anderson, Deputy Michael DeLeon, and Reserve Deputy Elizabeth Castillo. Pct. 2 would like to thank these Officers for mentoring these young people and teaching them the values, ethics, and morals consistent with Pct. 2 beliefs. Congratulations to all of the Explorers for putting in the time and effort needed to be among the best Explorer Posts. Their next competition will be held in August in Corpus Christi.
