In December, Pct. 2 helps many families with gifts of toys through the Annual Kevin Aigner Memorial Toy Drive. The toys are donated and then redistributed to needy families and children who may not receive many gifts. These toys are given out at toy drops at several parks and apartment complexes throughout the precinct. In its 6th year, this remarkable program has been dedicated to the care and needs of children and adolescents during Christmas.
This year, Pct.2 handed out over 800 toys to children in need and donated another 300 toys to the Dell Children's Medical Center. Executive Director Kristi Katz thanked Pct. 2 by saying the gifts make a difference for countless children and their families. Our office is honored to help Dell Children's Hospital in their mission to make miracles happen and transform lives. We will be continuing this partnership this Christmas.
