Travis County Pct. 2 Constable Deputies attended the first annual Public Safety Day at the Pflugerville Pfield on Saturday, September 29. The event featured public safety displays on patrol, recruiting, traffic, K-9, and victim services. Travis County Pct. 2 Explorer Post 711 was also there and held a fundraiser selling pizza to help fund their expenses for competition.
Public Safety Day is the kick-off to National Night Out as residents and neighborhood coordinators of National Night Out events can pick up bags of information from the Police Department to hand out during National Night Out event parties being held on Tuesday October 2. Any neighborhood that wants to register for National Night Out, can signup at pflugervilletx.gov/nno.
