Our hard-working Deputies shifted into high gear when winter weather storms hit Travis County in late January and early February. Much of our Precinct experienced extreme icy conditions and power lines downed by falling branches and trees. Accidents were happening nonstop as the conditions worsened and our Deputies responded by helping motorists safely receive assistance and exchange information. Deputies drove down highways and through neighborhoods while removing trees, branches, and debris from roadways so traffic could flow safely. Hats off to all the First Responders who braved severe winter weather storms to assist the citizens of Travis County!
