SAFE (Stop Abuse For Everyone) held their annual Touch-a-Truck event on September 14th at Q2 Stadium. Touch-A-Truck is a fun-filled event where kids of all ages get the chance to touch, explore, and climb on just about any vehicle they can imagine. Touch-a-Truck has them all, from police vehicles and ambulances to backhoes and bulldozers. Over 6,000 kids and parents showed up to enjoy the festivities. In addition to the Truck Showcase, the event also featured activities including face painting, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and more.
Annually, SAFE serves an average of 6,000 survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking with services they need to access safety, healing and hope. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in this event and help in their mission.
