D.E.A. National Drug Take Back Day is a bi-annual event that was held on October 28th. The event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. Our office enjoys participating every April and October and our location is generally one of the larger collection sites in Travis County. Special thanks to the University of Texas School of Pharmacy students for helping us out with collection.
If you happened to miss the event, you can still drop off year round at our Medication Drop Box located in our office foyer. We believe strongly in the D.E.A's mission of keeping these medications and other drugs out of the wrong hands.
