The Central Texas Public Safety Cadet Competition was held on Saturday April 1st. Pct. 2 joined with the Travis County Sheriffs Office to host the competition which brought in 18 teams from all over the state and as far away as Amarillo. It was an outstanding competition day with with an awards banquet afterwards hosted by Constable Adan Ballesteros and Sheriff Sally Hernandez. Awards were presented for the following:
Top individual medal for each of these categories – DWI Scenario, Oral Hiring Board, Fitness Challenge Cadet & Fitness Challenge Advisor
Team trophy + individual medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place in each of these team events: Accident Investigation, Arrest, Search & Seizure, Burglary in Progress, Crime Scene, Crisis Intervention, Domestic Disturbance, Felony Traffic Stop, Misdemeanor Traffic Stop & Unknown Call
Overall trophy for top team
