In its 14th year, the Cpl. Kevin Aigner Memorial Toy Drive was created to honor Cpl. Aigner after he tragically passed away while assisting the residents off Steiner Ranch during the fires of 2011. Corporal Kevin Aigner was a leader in his community and helped mentor kids through coaching youth baseball and teaching Law Enforcement procedures and ethics to young adults through the Travis County Precinct 2 Constable's Office Public Safety Cadet Program. The Toy Drive generously supplies toy to families in our precinct who are unable to afford them over the holidays.

This year, our office partnered with the McNeil YMCA to host our annual Christmas Toy Giveaway, aimed at bringing joy to families associated with the YMCA and local elementary schools. We invited these families to a special day of celebration and community spirit. Throughout the day, there were fun activities and games for all ages, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter. A highlight was the arrival of Santa Claus, who delighted children as they shared their Christmas wishes and received special gifts.

Overall, the Christmas Toy Giveaway with the McNeil YMCA was a success, fostering community and togetherness during the holiday season. We are grateful for the opportunity to positively impact these families and look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.
